Choice. The spice of life… or something like that. We all have a choice from what we have for lunch to where we buy our polka dotted socks. Here are a few things to consider when making a decision.
Insane product knowledge
For many, the equipment we sell is no small investment and being educated in what meets your specific goals can ease the purchase decision. We are a small, boutique company who focuses entirely on the Letus product line. It’s what we know. It’s what we do. We’ll be able to address questions much better because we are able to focus entirely on one brand instead of hundreds. If you ask a question we don’t know the answer to, we have direct access to the Letus engineers and can get answers fast. We want our customers to make informed decisions so please do not hesitate to ask us any question you want. And to save you time… the meaning of life is 42.
A bundle is a bundle
We do our best to provide the most complete bundles possible. We do not leave critical items out to make the product appear cheaper. We are not a fan of the “bait and switch” marketing tactics some use to lure people into their online storefronts. So a bundle on a competing site may appear to cost much less but reading the fine print usually reveals missing parts that should have been included. Not cool. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
Let’s be friends
Because we are a small company, we can focus on our customers more than a corporate giant. We don’t want you getting lost in the shuffle. A Letus customer is a Letus friend. Except for you, Chris. No one really likes you especially when you have been drinking.
That may sound cliche’ but it is the truth. The reason we get up every day is because of the great people we meet in this industry. I’ve worked in many different markets before becoming involved with Letus and I can say that the nicest people I’ve met have been in film and television production. We love to meet our customers and fans in person whenever we are on the road (or here at the office). Want to pop in and say hi? Please do. Want to have lunch with the CEO? Sure! Want to cruise the South Pacific on the company yacht? Well, if we ever get one, we’ll be sure to let you know.
Free Stuff? Wha wha what?
Why yes. That’s correct! We are always improving and evolving. Sometimes we change a product that has already shipped. Sometimes that change is critical enough that we feel it’s only fair to offer the upgrade to existing owners. Although this doesn’t happen too often (we like to think we have a pretty solid beta testing program), it will occasionally take place. Ordering directly through us allows us to alert you of these situations and we’ll hook you up with free upgrades.
We also have Letus swag from time to time. Usually after trade shows. We’ll get the occasional tweet, email, or call asking for freebies. If we have some, we’ll be happy to send goodies out your way. Just post a picture up so we can see it being put to good use. No, not THAT kind of picture. We don’t have any more of those sweet BFF Bracelets pictured above either. Sorry.

We price match. Did you find one of our products cheaper elsewhere? We’ll give you the same deal. Within reason of course. Please don’t try to get us to price match a Zeiss Compact Prime 85mm that you found at an estate sale for $3. If there is an official Letus reseller selling a product for less money, just let us know and we’ll discount accordingly.

We’ll look your order up by name and make sure you are taken care of. No need to go find that receipt you stuffed in your pocket and sent through the wash. All orders are shipped directly from Letus. Thus the name LetusDirect. There are no middlemen to slow the process or add their surcharges. Most orders typically ship the same or next business day for in stock items. If you need something fast, your best bet is with us.
We are now offering FedEx Previous Day shipping*. Need a Letus follow focus tomorrow? BAM! It was there yesterday before you even knew you needed it. Go on, check the front porch. We’ll wait. *NOTE: Due to green house gas build up in the space time continium, FedEx Previous Day shipping is no longer available. We will offer FedEx Overnight as the fastest method until we get the carbon offset corrected in time travel. We blame Chris. He’s very gassy.
We give back 10% or more
We hesitated to list this last one because we are not trying to toot our own horn. We decided that for the sake of transparency and accountability, we should make an official declaration. We believe in giving back. At least 10% of all income earned is donated to non-profit organizations around the world.
